“treat light weights like they are heavy and heavy weights will start to feel light”

Hola people, so how we feeling after this weeks training?! Most of you will probably say beat up and that you hate me. If that’s you, good, you’re on the right track!

With new training cycles come new stimuli and adaptations. While your body tries to adjust to the new stimulus the first couple weeks will definitely be challenging.

It’s important to stay the course though. I know some of you may be very sore, but in order for these adaptations to occur you need to continue to be consistent.

That being said it’s equally important to know your body. Like I posted about the other day the percentages you see written on the board are guides to what you should be striving for.

But it’s not always going to happen that those percentages will be hit. And that’s fine but you still need to make the most out of that training session. Lighten to load and work on technique and moving the barbell quickly!

Keep coming in working hard and doing what you can do enhance recovery (mobility, nutrition, sleeping enough etc), the results will follow!

Also! You may have heard me say “treat light weights like they are heavy and heavy weights will start to feel light” v quick article read on what I mean!
